The components of capital importance (core products) of the MCT are longitudinal and rotary actuators in the range of 5 kN to 2,5 MN or 0,5 kNm to 32 kNm in standard and extraordinary types as well as special purpose testing systems using this elements.
An extraordinary detail of their design is the antifriction surface of the relevant contact areas by special developed polymer coatings. Accompanied by constant suck up of bearing oil this leads to nearly slip-stick free actuators free of any bearings at the high dynamic moved piston rods. -

Longitudinal actuators
Longitudinal actuators, driven by servo valves, transform hydraulic
energy into mechanical energy. They are integral components of high performance servo hydraulic machines and systems for static and dynamic mechanical testing. They serve for loading any kind specimens, components and other types of test samples, applying control of force or the linear displacement under high resolution conditions.
Long life time and extreme load cause friction and wear at bearings and piston. The result on most of the standard type actuators on the market is irrecoverable damage of metal surface and destruction of components.
Polymer coated bearings and center peace of piston prevent MCT actuators from being damaged under extreme stress. In any case the actuator can be refurbished to new type conditions.
Therefore periodical service and maintenance is a prerequisite in treatment of such high precise testing equipment.
